Harig AB 5C Manual Spin Indexer # 122-100 Used Nice!

You are looking at a used, original, Harig AB 5C Manual Spin Indexer.  The unit does not have a part number, but I believe it is a 122-100, not sure.  The Serial No. of this unit is 24-4443.  This unit is in good used original condition.  This is a durable 5C collet spin fixture that can offer production capabilities and this unit can be easily motorized.

I do not believe that this unit was ever used with a motor.  This is a manual operation unit so it also includes the removable handle.  This spin indexer has the four mounting holes to mount the optional motor.  Some of the features of this unit are:  Sturdy and dimensionally stable cast iron housing, large pre-loaded ball bearings that are durable and accurate which makes this unit ideal for motorization, the unit is precision ground to hold the 5C Collets, it has a draw sleeve to set up collets, the nut has not been used much, there are a few marks on the nut. As clean as this unit is, I don't believe this was used in a grinding environment, only used for inspection.  It also has an extended base on it as you can see for minimal deflection for heavier parts.  It also has a 1/4 inch diameter mounting hole on top of the housing for a diamond dresser.  There are also two mounting holes on the base of this unit for use with Harig accessories or to mount to some other type of table.  The crank handle is easily removed to use with a motorized setup.  The design of this unit allows for the optional variable speed motor to be put forwards or rearward position.  I am also including one collet that was already installed in the unit.  The ground surfaces on this unit are in excellent condition, there are no engravings.  This unit was well cared for, it has the original paint on it.  I have never tested this unit on a grinder to see how well it works.  The index pin still works and the spin indexes 24 divisions.  It appears to be in good used condition.  I used an indicator on this unit and it appears that the spindle of the unit has less than .0001 runout measuring on the front taper of the spindle, however, there is no guarantees on the accuracy of this unit.  Also included is an indicating arm to hold your test indicator that is bolted to the side of the unit in one of the holes where the motor would bolt to.  I'm not sure what type of flexible indicator holder this is.  A new one of these retails for over ,600!  Harig makes excellent quality tools, and still makes replacement parts for this unit today.  The pictures in this listing are actual pictures of the item for sale.  All that is included with this item is what is seen in the pictures.  I have never tested this item.  Be sure to ask questions before purchasing.  This item will be sold as-is, no returns or refunds once this item is purchased.
